Adjunct Faculty services are usually assigned and contracted on a semester-by-semester basis and paid by contract hour. However, assignments and the rate of pay will vary for credit and non-credit assignments. Assignments for credit courses are limited to no more than three (3) courses per semester and twenty-one (21) contract hours per year. Administrative employees may be employed in confidential or non-confidential capacities.<\/p><p>Minimum Educational Requirements<\/p><ul><li>Master\u2019s degree<\/li><\/ul><p>Minimum Qualifications<\/p><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities in a complex setting<\/li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse academic, staff, and student populations as well as external constituents<\/li><li>Knowledge of the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and\/or presentation software<\/li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills<\/li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of college administration, policies and procedures, preferably at the community college level.<\/li><li>Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment<\/li><\/ul><p>Desirable Qualifications<\/p><ul><li>Five to ten years of progressive managerial responsibility.<\/li><li>Proven ability to effectuate change and innovatively initiate new programs and approaches.<\/li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of computerized records maintenance and management, preferably the Banner System<\/li><li>Experience in the administration of instructional and community related programs preferably at the community college level.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-72802\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse72802\" aria-controls=\"collapse72802\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> FACULTY<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse72802\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-7280\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-72802\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Individuals employed as full-time instructional staff are classified as Faculty. Faculty may be eligible for tenure in the academic ranks of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor or Instructor. Non-teaching Faculty or Lecturers are assigned on a 12 month contract.
